Does this sound like you?
Walks aren’t cutting it. Obedience isn’t scratching the itch.
You’ve got a dog with drive - and you’re done trying to fit them into village-hall-class boxes.
You’re looking for something that actually fulfils your dog. Something that channels their instincts instead of suppressing them.
Something active, structured, and satisfying - for both of you.
You’ve probably seen agility and hoopers. That’s not what we do.
We offer dog sports built around instinct - designed for dogs who need an outlet, not just obedience.
To chase. To find. To work with purpose.
By working with these instincts, not against them, we allow dogs to do what they were born to do - be dogs at their best.
Our Dog Sports
Mantrailing
-
Mantrailing is a scent sport where your dog uses their nose to follow a specific person’s trail - it’s dog-led, mentally stimulating, and incredibly rewarding.
-
Builds confidence and focus, especially in dogs who are nervous, reactive, or struggle in typical training environments.
-
Suitable for all breeds, sizes, and ages - from excitable puppies to steady seniors.
-
Low-impact and always on-lead, making it ideal for dogs who need space or prefer working one-on-one.
-
We run workshops tailored to all levels, whether you’re just starting out or looking to build on your skills.
-
Not sure if it’s for you? Try our Private Mantrailing Sessions - a 1:1 experience where you and your dog can explore the sport in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Barn Hunt
-
Barn Hunt is a fast-paced scent sport that taps into your dog’s natural hunting instincts by simulating the hunt for rats in a barn environment.
-
Your dog will navigate straw bale obstacles, tunnels, and climbs while searching for hidden rat-scented tubes - all while you learn to read their body language and alert the judge.
-
Suitable for all breeds and abilities, including reactive dogs and those who need to be muzzled - any dog over 6 months can join in the fun.
-
Great for building confidence and teamwork, Barn Hunt helps dogs develop problem-solving skills while strengthening their bond with you in a fun, motivating environment.
-
Take part in Official Barn Hunt Trials to earn internationally recognised titles and track your progress as a team.
-
We offer open workshops for all experience levels, private 1:1 sessions, and fully licensed trials for those ready to compete.

Lure Coursing
-
Lure Coursing is a high-energy sport that channels your dog’s natural chase instincts in a safe, controlled setting - perfect for dogs who love to run.
-
Your dog will chase a fast-moving lure across an open field, mimicking the thrill of the hunt while giving them a healthy outlet for their drive.
-
Suitable for all breeds and abilities - including reactive dogs - it’s ideal for sighthounds, high-drive dogs, or any dog that thrives on movement.
-
Our 'The Drive Within' workshops also focus on calmness, cooperative play, and impulse control, helping your dog learn to switch between excitement and relaxation.
-
Our Time Trial sessions give each dog multiple runs per session, allowing them to chase, rest, and run again - building fitness, confidence, and fulfilment in a fun, controlled environment.
-
Each session includes a warm-up and cool-down to promote fitness, prevent injury, and ensure your dog is working safely and comfortably.

G.R.C Dogsports
-
GRC stands for Gameness, Relationship, and Control - it’s all about channelling your dog’s drive and motivation, building a strong bond, and developing self-control around distractions.
-
We’re proud to run Staffordshire’s first official GRC Dogsports Club, part of a growing network of UK clubs bringing this exciting sport to more dogs and owners.
-
You’ll begin by learning about and practising for the Social Responsibility (SR) test, a key element of GRC that focuses on helping your dog become an exemplary canine citizen.
-
Drive sports such as slatmill, weight pull, wall climb, and spring pole are coming soon. These are a great way to channel your dog’s natural drive and athleticism, while also building confidence and resilience.
-
Got a bull breed like a Staffy? This sport was made for them - but GRC is open to all breeds and types who want to join the fun.
-
After you've attended an Introductory session you can drop in and stay as long as you like on club days- no pressure, no time slots, just quality training in a relaxed and supportive environment.

"Dog sports are our passion, and we believe they’re one of the best ways to engage a dog’s natural instincts, unlocking mental stimulation, confidence, and joy for all breeds. Whether your dog is a scent-driven hunter or simply loves a challenge, dog sports are a fantastic way to enrich their lives and fulfil their innate potential."
